Our client was experiencing water ingress at their property so they asked us to help provide a solution that would prevent the water from entering their family home and provide a lovely patio area for entertaining. The flooding was being caused by the steep sloping garden with poor drainage.

As part of our solution to keep the water out, we added a drain right the way along the length of the patio which filters into an underground pump. When this pump gets full, it automatically switches on to pump the water around the corner to the mains drain.

To complete their new porcelain tile patio installation, we also renewed the steps using matching tiles from the modern patio, built feature wooden handrails and created a custom drain cover to match.
